Juicer is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, NY. Below are some highlights from their unreleased 10 song debut album, Retire The Fences, which takes its name from a Beach Boys lyric. Written in the midst of a move from his hometown of LA to Brooklyn, Retire The Fences is a road journal of sorts for lead singer/songwriter James Pratley Watson, filled with the stories, dreams, struggles and hopes associated with leaving home.
The album was recorded at Studio G in Brooklyn and includes a personnel of heavy-hitters from the local indie scene, including Hayden Ticehurst (Jordana) engineering, Preston Fulks (Momma) on drums and Jeremy McLennan (Orchin, The Life, Sadie) producing and playing guitar. The cover art of Retire The Fences is a collaboration between Roman Koval (photographer) and Pollen Arts Club (Joe and Leigh Agius) on logo design.
Juicer is currently seeking a label to work with in putting out this exciting new album, which is a fresh take on 90s/Early 00s style indie rock. The band is playing shows around Brooklyn and is looking to tour with like-minded bands. For show info and other updates check out their instagram (link below).
