Small Smile Records is an art collective that I started in college. It is now co-operated by myself and Chase Gibson. We are a group of independent artists that convene every once in a while to make a collaborative project such as CRMNL HYGNE // A Musical Portrait (2013) or The Red Bicycle (2013). We also host events and distribute music.
The Red Bicycle (2013)
The Red Bicycle is a novella by Kai Flanders that the author opened up to a transmedia collaboration with my art collective, Small Smile Records. I served as Executive Producer and Musical Director for the project, helping fund printing costs, overlooking art direction and contracting musicians to help produce the accompanying album, The Red Bicycle, The Sountrack (2013). The project also included a graphic novel by Kat Glasheen and a short film by Ted Gerike, key members of the Small Smile Records roster.
